I have a formal music background that begins in 1972 in school where I learned to play drums in both concert and marching band. I have been involved with many bands in many styles of music including Christian Contemporary, Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Classic Rock, Blues, Country, Show music, Alternative, SKA, New Age, Classical, A/C etc.. I am also a practicing studio musician with many demos. I am well versed playing both live and to a click track... I have excellent improv. skills and can lay back and be very solid as well. My goal is to play for the music no matter what the music calls for. I have the ability to read music as well, arrange complementary percussion and collaborate in all styles. I am currently involved in two projects including:


Swedge - Contemporary and traditional jazz band. We meet regularly and cover a variety of swing, funk and modern jazz.

Louis Colaiannia & Company- Classical/New Age Pianist with orchestral jazz ensemble. Louis, myself and Swedge are working together on Louis' original music both in and out of the studio. See .louismusic for more detail. We are also performing at various venues through out the Denver metro area. Louis' music is currently receiving radio play in the US. Louis is also recognized world wide for his catching original material.
