The upright bass is what I am primarily interested in playing in a band setting (Bluegrass, Jazz, or Latin). I have been playing extensively for over four (4) years and have concentrated my studies on Bluegrass and Jazz. I also play electric bass. I have a very strong background in music theory, and have written and arranged for bands in the past. Currently playing bass in a local bluegrass band and trombone in the Maxwell Street Klezmer Band. But I really wish to play the upright bass in a committed band, either Jazz or Bluegrass.
FYI - My trombone experience is vast. I have backed up many famous people including Elvis Presley, Sonny & Cher, Glen Campbell, The Temptations, Mel Torme, and many others.
