I read music and can transpose
I teach practical jazz, pop, theory from a conceptual approach. I don't consider myself a jazz player, but I love the music and know the standatd tunes. I've had a love affair with chords from the time I could sit at a piano. The combinations are inexhaustible.
Got my main education from John Elliott in Kansas City years ago (rest in peace John).
Now affiliated with Jay EuDaly up there in KC .masterguitar

Hartsong
Hartsong Track number: 1 Year: 1993 Album: Hartsong Genre: Christian / Gospel
My now adult son was sitting at our old upright piamo diddlin' around and I heard him singing and playing the melody to the first line of this song, which became the seed for the song. That's how this track starts, with me telling him we got a song! 21 years ago. We did this little demo for fun in 2009.
