My name is Brandon Pierson, and I will be finishing graduate school at the University of Oklahoma in May. I have been playing in bars in coffee shops throughout the Norman and Oklahoma City area for about a year now. I play the acoustic guitar and have written between 15-20 original songs since graduating college in 2009

Influences
My musical influences range from Ryan Adams and Wilco to Ricky Skaggs and Dan Tyminski. Though I respect John Mayer as one of the best songwriters of my generation, I try to avoid the cliche coffee house genre. I would like to have a dobro player for when I play acoustic sets because I love the simple yet full sound that an acoustic guitar and dobro make when paired together in relatively small venues.

I have an acoustic guitar, and the places that I play provide microphones and chords.
