ABOUT

I can't remember a time when I wasn't drumming. On the seldom days when I am not sitting behind a set of drums, I always have a pair of sticks with me. I always have a groove in my head that I can't wait to play the next chance I get. I'm just as big of a fan of the instrument as I am a player, so I approach the instrument with less of a musician's ear and more of a fan's ear. Do I enjoy the music I'm making? Does the music I make both impress and/or inspire me to keep playing? If the answer is "yes", then the day has been won. I define my particular style as groove-oriented improvisation, however I am confident enough with my proficiency at the drums to calibrate my style to any performing environment or to any artist with whom I may be so lucky to share a stage or studio.
