I played in bands many years ago. I raised 5 kids on a low income for several years. Had no time or money for music. I’m retiring in two years and want to get back to playing with other musicians and shaking the cobwebs off. I play by ear and I really like creating new stuff, sometimes conventional sometimes not. Not into note for note covers. At least not after I’ve learned the song. Once I loosen up it will all come back but for now I like to listen and stay fresh.
