ABOUT

I'm a bedroom musician who hasn't really played shows in about 20 years. After a stint with bands in my teens and early 20s, I ran off to college and grad school, started my career, and kept music as a hobby only. Now that I'm a dad with a family, I'm just looking for some people who want to be friends and get together and play a couple times per month. I am primarily looking for people on the west side near the Beaverton area. I live and work on Beaverton/Hillsboro and can’t travel far during the week.

I would like this to be a social thing first and then see where it goes. I'm not planning on taking this too seriously, but depending on where it leads, I might be willing to play some shows locally in the Portland region.

All of my music uploads are not produced in any way, just a mic (sometimes just an iPhone) and some home recording software. I uploaded them here just to give you an idea of my style and interests. I'm sure with a little more polish, I could record some decent songs. I'm interest mainly in rhythm guitar and singing, but could do some lead work if need-be. I'm not a virtuoso, but if I have some time with the material, I can make it work.
