I am a "Baby Boomer" drummer looking to collaborate with folks in a similar age range. I am presently in one band which has recently begun to get paying gigs as well as another which plays mostly for enjoyment but has had a couple of shows. I am retired, so I have the time for an additional classic rock/blues and/or country/southern rock/outlaw country rock project. I am very easy going and open to playing with folks having varying degrees of talent who are at least committed to playing the occasional party, bar gig or free festival style concert.

Influences

My musical taste is quite eclectic. It spans all sub-genres of blues, rock and country (as well as some limited types of jazz and big band) from the 1940s to the present day. While I wouldn't say I have been influenced by any particular drummers, I have been inspired by drummers such as John Densmore, Buddy Rich, Kenny Aronoff, Nick Mason, Mick Fleetwood and others.

I have more equipment than I'll ever need. I have two acoustic drum kits and one electronic drum kit, as well as a wide range of related playing and performance gear (monitors, PA, computers, mixers, mics, cables, stands, etc.) Traditionally, I have jammed with musicians at my "home studio" which is virtually turnkey and perfect for rehearsals.
