Buckler has created a huge buzz in the SouthEast in an amazingly short period of time. In the first 6 months of this year they have played over 100shows. They have played everywhere from intimate clubs to 10,000 seat arenas. As busy as their touring schedule has been they have squeezed in several radio and television appearances. Their only break from relentless touring has been to jump into the studio with multi-Platinum Engineer/Producer Tim Nitz to record two songs. Buckler will be starting a college tour across the Southeast and across the West soon. Expect Buckler to have a huge impact on the national scene soon. So this is buckler................... Buckler a five peice rock band is based out of Huntsville,AL. This very diverse group is from all over the southeast. They all met one way or another to form the group buckler Lance buckler's lead singer/song writer started toying around with the band idea in Altanta, GA.. Lance has always been the front man and song writer for bands but none like what he was able to put together with buckler. The first piece of the buckler puzzle would be New Orleans. LA bread Robert Russell whom adds spicy hot flavor on the drums as well as holding down a steady beat. Second to come aboard was Birmingham, AL native Chris Hentz, Chris brings very nice background vocals and solid rhythm guitar. Third was Marty Calvert from Huntsville,AL who had tried his hand at many other bands but none quiet fits his tasty guitar riffs such as buckler. Last but not least Lance brought on board the multi talented Dru Riddley from Nashville,TN. Dru being rooted in piano and R and B to play the bass for buckler was a perfect match with Robert and Lance's style. So yet five very unique individuals make up the band buckler which is anything but ordinary. without a doubt it is rock n roll music, but with subtleties of R and B giving the groove and Lance’s unique vocal tone and color makes buckler who they are. The guitar riffs stick like glue and tasty lyrics you can sink your teeth into and chew while. Lyrical hooks you can sing for days along with drum and bass grooves that wont let your feet stand still is what buckler is all about and that is just a few reasons why it is so easy to fall in love with this band THE SCOOP Target audience: 13-35 year olds Style of music: rock Type of venues: Stadiums, arenas, theme parks, colleges, festivals, youth events, local clubs, churches States played in: AL, TN, GA, FL, SC,NC, LA, IN, MI Notable venues: Olympic Centennial Park, Atlanta,GA, Vision Land, Birmingham,AL, MTV Band shell, Daytona Beach, FL, Gaylord Entertainment Center, Nashville,TN, Joe Davis Stadium, Huntsville,AL Largest crowd: 6,000 plus Notable event: Buckler played Huntsville,AL at Concert in the Park July 12, 2004 that honored all the armed forces of America.
