Raw, juicy acoustic guitar, lightly seasoned with electric, spiced up then grounded with a tribal backbeat to give it a full-bodied flavor. Burning Truth is much more than just a "band". We are a performance group that combines cutting-edge music with innovative dance. The dance display is derived from the ancient art of Poi, a tradition of the Maori of New Zealand. For appropriate venues, fire dancing is the preferred form. Silk spinning is a beautiful variation on Poi that is perfect for daytime shows or venues where we are not able to use fire.
