ABOUT
Calibama is a high-energy, young, marketable pop/punk/country band with one-of-a-kind cross genre appeal that is completely unique in country music.
We have recorded an EP with New Voice Entertainment (production company comprised of Jason Aldean's band members, who have produced award winning acts Thompson Square and Parmalee) as well as other original tunes on our own.
2 of our songs are also on the soundtrack of major motion picture Hunting Season, starring Tom Sizemore and Eric Roberts (recently released, distributed nationally at Walmart, Target and Best Buy). This includes our song "Sierra," which hit top 25 on Australian radio.
We have financial backing, just signed on with Marbaloo Marketing (PR agency representing Luke Bryan and Kelsey Ballerini), and are preparing for a major marketing campaign to include magazine/online interviews, radio, and publicity for streaming and social media. At this point, we simply need the right like-minded people to join us for these next steps.
Our game plan is not so much about gigging every night in bars, etc., although we do some for live experience. We are looking more towards showcasing and being presented to labels as a packaged brand.
