I am a recent transplant from Sacramento, CA. Unfortunately, for the past 7 years, I have been doing mostly cover projects. I’ve played in a live karaoke band, a Led Zeppelin band, Misfits band, Alice in Chains band, a Guns n Roses band, and I have sat in on numerous acoustic sets with a singer/songwriter from Sacramento named Adam Donald. Influences
Early in my playing I had the usual influences like Led Zeppelin (which you can still hear), AC/DC, The Cult, and Hendrix. Lately though, I found myself listening to Wilco more than any other band. The last cd I bought was The Entrance Band.
EQUIPMENT
I play a Gibson SG that was originally a ’61 Les Paul Junior through a Fender Supersonic head and 4x12 cabinet. I also have a Fender Blues Deville 2x12 combo that I am fixing at the moment. I have three acoustic guitars, but my currant favorite is my 70s Framus Western. As far as effects, I keep it pretty simple. I have a pedal board with a wah, reverb, analog delay, and sustain.
