I've been playing guitar since 2003. I've taught myself everything I know. It's the ONE AND ONLY thing in my life I've ever been totally obsessed with, totally in love with, and would be totally fu*king dead without. For real. If I didn't have the ability to pick up my instrument and play whenever I wanted, the sorrows of this life would be too much to bear. The echoes of torture would have no way to sing themselves back to sleep. "To be a rock and not to roll" would have been on my headstone years ago.

I live for The Music.
I live for The Rock.
I live for the words I could write.
I live for the reckless bullsh*t fueling my creation.
I live for the women who have loved me, and the women who've left me.
I live for the most broken hearts.
Mine, and all of theirs.
I live for the drugs.
I live for the drunken regrets.

I live for the darkness.

I live for the void that lies somewhere out there...balanced between death's first breath and the birth of the infinite.
I live for this glimpse...through this window of life...for this sight of bewildering magic.
I live for the wonder that comes to no end...of all that's impossible to know.
I live to fail...stuck in the mire of failure.
I live to wing it each day with no brakes.
I live to succeed...at what I love...with who I love...
I live hoping that they'll succeed me.
I live for the valleys.
I live for the mountains.
I live for the climb, ever higher.
I live for the lesson i learn as I slip.
I live for the view from the top.
I live for the loneliness.
I live for the lantern.

I live for uncertainty.
I live for the thirsting.
I live to receive what I'm worth.
I live to deceive myself...sell myself short.
I live for the painful love lost.
I live for the day that her Beauty steps into my castle, and faces The Beast.
I live for these things...

And these THINGS...
But these things drag me down...and beneath.
