ABOUT

Former full-time performing and recording professional turned corporate exec looking for seasoned players to jam and gig blues, funk, acidy jazz and rock-type groove tunes.

Looking for players who listen well, fill the rhythm section with tasty comping, and then let it rip when it's their turn to burn. Plan is to do mostly instrumental covers, including some well known older and current pop tunes (Stevie Wonder, Charlie Puth, Steely Dan, James Brown) that we rearrange to fit the instrumental vibe.

Not interested in lots of time rehearsing. Looking for pros who learn material quickly, we can jam a few times to get the feel going, tighten a few screws, and then gig.

This is not at GB band, it's an opportunity for serious musicians who love to play and push the boundaries of improvisation over familiar tunes that the audience will recognize.
