Caryn Sever rediscovered her love of folk music while playing guitar and singing on the street corners in Portland, Oregon. A classically trained singer, she brings fluid emotion to her own brand of acoustic folk rock. Unique and melodic, Caryn's voice combines the raw power of Janis Joplin with the smooth grace of P.J. Harvey or Tori Amos. Currently, she studies guitar with renowned guitarist Ron Medina. Caryn composes and performs her own songs. She also uses her distinctive style to interpret cover tunes.
