I have over 20 years of producing, performing and stage experience with some of the top musicians in the business. I stopped performing for awhile because it was hard to find committed musicians who would think outside of the box and who loved to play as an ensemble.
I am seeking specific musicians to rehearse for a future album project (Jazz/Funk) and to play gigs.
I just finished as lead female vocalist for a 10 piece funk band and am currently gigging a few nights a month with
The Fabulous Q-Balls (a funk/blues band)
I am not interested in beginners.

Influences:

I've sung it all just to make a living. But now I would say, Ella, Etta James, Dinah Washington, Aretha, Chaka, Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, Sam and Dave, Eagles, Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt. I love to be diverse as long as the music is good. I have a heavy gospel, funk, and blues influence with a little classic rock. But, I have my own sound and style and like to meld that with various musical genres.
