I have played in Manhattan at Kenny Castaways, the Lion's Den, The Pool Bar, The Tunnel and, finally CBGB's. In New Jersey, Johnny Dirt's Dirt Club, the Stone Pony and many other smaller NY/NJ bars and clubs.
The largest gig I've played was the Reading Music Festival cut a 1986 with an attendance of approximately 2,700.

EQUIPMENT
Five Ibanez basses in a variety of tunings. Fender Rumble 100 for practice and small gigs. Several electric, one in Fripp's NST and a Blueridge acoustic guitar.
I have a Peavy 15 PA system with Beringher floor monitors.
I have an arena sized bass rig, but the 1000 watt, 7 foot tall monster stacks are irrelevant today with modern direct to PA technology.
