Steely Dan, Traffic, Stevie Wonder, XTC, Ricki Lee Jones, Roxy Music/Bryan Ferry... I also like the quirky chill sound of Tommy Guerrero. Also: Afrobeat, Miles Davis, Weather Report, soul and Motown. My playing leans in the direction of bass players like James Jamerson, Paul McCartney, Colin Moulding, Tony Levin.
