ABOUT

Well...my musical history dates back to the Middle & High School band days, where I played trombone and various percussion instruments.

In my early college years, I was part of a Blue Man Group-esque bang-on-garbage-cans-and-random-junk squad for a while, and fell in love with percussion. Over the course of time I've picked up other various instruments along the way.

I'm currently a member of Driftwood, based out of Fond du Lac, and serve as the male lead vocalist and utility guy, playing banjo, mandolin, baritone ukulele, harmonica, and jawharp. We're a high-energy group and we have a blast at every show!

I've also been able to sing and play with other bands in the Fox Valley area, and I enjoy every minute of it.

My influences are too numerous to mention, but include everything from Johnny Cash & Merle Haggard to The Kentucky Headhunters, Alabama, Dwight Yoakam, David Lee Murphy, Zac Brown Band, Diamond Rio, Blackhawk, The Mavericks, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Randy Houser, Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, Jon Pardi, The Brothers Osbourne, Foo Fighters, Aerosmith, The Eagles, Journey, Blues Traveler, Mellencamp...to name a very select few.

I'm big into most music genres besides rap...take country, folk and rock from the classic years through today and that's a pretty good range.
