I would like to find someone nearby, who plays guitar or other instrument and would just like to play a few songs together once in a while - that's a fine start for me right now. I don't want to do virtual jams, but I'd be happy to share recordings. I have no trouble coming up with rhythms and hooks on the guitar if you're into writing. I can play any chord you can (probably many more) fluidly. You may be a better shredding soloist than me? I'm more into melodic solos, than speedy ones. If this grabs you in any way, hmu. Influences
The 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, and beyond!
For me as a child it started with The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, and really all of that great 70's stuff. As a teen, I loved a lot of the synth and new wave stuff, and the metal! And a lot of the pop... Still do. I've learned many songs by all the "Grunge" bands. I just like a good song, especially ones that have some element of guitar in the mix. I like voices like Steve Perry and Rod Steward. McCartney and Lennon. Nicks and Buckingham, etc. My range is middle of the road, but I still push myself vocally, within reason.
