50 years old, work full-time, kids all grown. Played professionally in the 1980s, in a rock cover band. Since then just for fun with pals. Only been paid for playing drums, but can hold my own on bass and rhythm guitar. Also sing backup. School training for 7 years of band class on clarinet, Alto sax, percussion, drums.

Influences
Rock from Chuck Berry to Foo Fighters, metal from Zep and Sabbath to Metallica, country from the Carter Family and Hank Sr. to Chris Stapleton. Biggest influence on drums are Bill Ward, Gene Krupa, Appice brothers, Steve Gadd. I love jazz, but have been able to play precious little of it.
