Old school metal head looking to form a studio band to begin with. I would like to connect with people who would like to write and produce some music which is in a similar vein to the metal music coming out of Europe at the moment. (For example, Battlebeast, Delain, Beast in Black, Symphony X, Sonata Artica, Hammerfall). I know there is not a lot of places in Maine that would be open to bands of this style, but my focus is not to gig every weekend. I would like to do some recording at this time with the potential in the future to something a little more intense. Perhaps opening for theses sorts of bands as they tour through the US. Opening for them in venues in the New England region. I have a 10 year out of date digital recording studio. Which works for me for now. Have enough gear to open a music store. Almost not kidding.

Right now I am not interested in learning covers only interested in original music with the idea to publish. Perhaps Frontiers Records, Nuclear blast records etc etc.
My main idea is to write and publish an album in the euro metal/power metal genera.
Perhaps develop into a studio band for the time being and see where things go.
I need a good vocalist with a wide range, male and female works.
I have very heavily influenced by 80s metal, hair metal, power metal and European metal....if you couldn't tell.
I work full time and regular weekend gigging is not something I wish to do. The future is an open door though. and with the right mix of musicians and good musical chemistry I could change that.
I have been musically dormant for about 10 years and now knocking the dust off my gear, and my hands. Taking things slow and steady to find the right mix electronically and personally.

Update 9/114/21
I have recently started some online guitar lessons to bone up on my lead guitar playing. Scales...scales....scales....and my metronome. Hopefully I will see improvement in the coming months. Also going back to old masters of demos I have done with my previous bands and revisiting those for growth reasons. Starting to write some riffs down for future original metal and progressive songs.

I have also uploaded a couple of songs from my last band "Time Will Tell". I would be open to reactivating this band with mostly new people. Would without a doubt need a new drummer and singer. Possibly a bass player too but not completely stuck in the bass dept as I still know a few.

As far as availability goes, I prefer weekends to meet up. No specific times. Sundays are usually the most open for me. I am sometimes available on weekday evenings.
