Playing on/off for about 40 years. Young attitude long haired 64. Amateur luthier: build, set up and modify my guitars. Have 200 sq/ft air-conditioned sound insulated home studio in back of house with two drum sets, Hart electric pro and 7-piece Yamaha birch acoustic with Saluda cymbals. Been playing drums longer than guitar but these days only to cut tracks to backup guitar projects. Equipped with Reaper multitrack DAW and mix console, guest amps and mikes. Mainly play modified ‘88 Strat and a custom built ES-335 style through Hughs&Kettner Deluxe Head to either single Celestion 12” (England manufacturer) or min-80’s Marshall 2X12 cab. Also have Egnater 30 watt 12” combo Rebel and a 100 watt ENGL based custom build with two Celestion 12’s. Like southern/blues rock, 70’s, 80’s and some current material. Play almost straight no EFX. Like shuffles and boogies. A lot of what I cover is near note for note. Played for 2 years with hard rocking gospel soul group in Louisiana before moving to Pensacola. Played at Jazz Fest ‘20 and House Of Blues in NOLA, January of ‘21 right before COVID shut everything down. Now two years later, new city, want to find easy going competent bass, drummer and vocalist to jam with. Looking for good players that are reliable and substance free. Style and attitude count; hang out and see what shakes out. People appreciate well done covers with plenty of energy plus original spin and spirit.
