I'm a Lexington based musician who has played in two bands, and is currently in a weddings and events band called Donny Brooke. I've been a stand-in musician for many players in the Lexington/central Kentucky Area. I'm currently in Bowling Green attending WKU and looking for some people to jam with and hopefully gig around.

Influences
I've been formally trained on bass guitar since I was seven and have picked up other instruments along the way. My major influences for bass have been Paul McCartney, Jaco Pastorius, James Jamerson, Nathan Watts, and Victor Wooten. I'm flexible in playing whatever is in demand. back home classic rock and country is the most popular, so I play a lot of those two genres. But I'm willing to learn and explore other genres to better my skills and well-roundedness.
Other influences: Beatles, Queen, Styx, REO, Simon and Garfunkle, Billy Joel, Tom Jones, Tom Petty, etc...

EQUIPMENT
I play a five string squire jazz bass. I can play a four string and have no problem switching back and forth. I also have an alto and tenor sax that I also gig out with and can play steady rhythm guitar on an acoustic breed-love. I have my acoustic, bass, and alto sax here with me in bowling green, including a fender rumble amp.

Donny Brook will be playing at Octoberfest in Harrodsburg Kentucky (my hometown) for an hour if anyone is interested to come out, drink beer, and listen to awesome music!
