I'm a drummer that's rooted in rock, but I've started transitioning more towards jazz. I love to play classic rock, early alternative, funk, and jazz and also love improvisational jamming. I first learned to play drums when I was in 5th grade and played until I reached a plateau in 8th grade and decided to give up. I picked it back up a couple years ago and began taking it very seriously, playing just about every day for hours. At this point I'd say I'm on the lower end of the advanced spectrum.
Some of my favorite bands and artists are Grateful Dead, Alice in Chains, The Internet, Roy Ayers, David Bowie, Smashing Pumpkins, Weather Report, Pearl Jam, The Smiths, Mac Miller, Pixies, Herbie Hancock, Tom Misch, and a lot more but I'm trying not to make this list too exhausting lmao. You don't necessarily have to be looking for a band I like to just jam with people too so if you have similar music taste definitely hit me up.
