I'm looking to get into a band. I'm 27 years old and live in the Manchester area. I haven't played guitar in a long time, but if there's a guitarist who's willing to show me some things, I think I'd make a just fine back up. I also used to play bass and piano. But I feel that my strong suit would be in singing. I used to write songs alot and could do that. It really doesn't matter to me if this wants to be a band that strictly does covers at bars, or a serious band that wants to write their own songs and hopefully move on someday. I prefer the latter, but that can come at another time. Right now, my main goal is just to get with a band and do some auditions and see how it goes. I don't have any friends that I can start my own band with, so I had to resort here. Hopefully there is a band on here that is looking for a lead singer. My music preferences are post grunge, like breaking benjamin, 12 stones, Failsafe, Saving Abel, Army of Anyone...that kind of stuff.

Influences
The bands above, many others, classic Ozzy and Black Sabbath is what took me away from Rap so many years ago. When it existed, WBCN was the station I listened to.
