ABOUT

I am looking for a musician/musicians that want to write some music and have some fun with it. I am not looking to be a cover band or sound like someone else. I am also not looking to go out of my way to make sure that I don't sound like anyone else. I do want to play shows, but that is pretty easy to do around here. I play what I play and you play what you play; we blend it together, try to make it sound good and have fun.

I am a guitar player, and a pretty good one at that. That being said I am not exclusively looking for super awesome musicians. I just want to find some band mates that want to write, record, and have fun with it. My style(s) range from blues to metal. I really like playing lead but I think that if you have multiple guitar players that role can and should be shared. Music should have depth, and no one really wants to hear a nine minute guitar solo.

I am looking for other like minded musicians that want to, and can, make time to do this. Drummers, bass guitar players, acoustic guitar players, electric guitar players, singers, and even wind instrument players. Really just any musician that wants to do something new and play. I have a home studio with some basic equipment including recording gear (protools, Focusrite 18i20, and various decent mice), drums, a PA, and my guitar gear. The point being that a place to play/practice and do some decent recording is not an issue.

EQUIPMENT

Mostly I use my PRS Custom 22, Ibanez RG Prestige, and Jackson PC1 for guitars. My Kemper is my main amp but I also like to use my Fender Deville, Gibson Goldtone, and National Valco. I also have a Gretsch drum set, Protools with Focusrite 18i20 interface, Yamaha powered PA speakers, and 10 assorted mics for recording.
