Currently active as the acoustic player and backup bass player for a large church playing twice a week in front of 200-300 people, but would like to play cover songs with other folks, at least for fun, but possibly for profit (if the chemistry is there) at some of the local pubs or downtown on Broadway on Saturday nights for tips and for something to do. I am very interested in fun, modern, acoustic rock such as "Brian Wilson" by the Barenaked Ladies, "Lie in our Graves" and "Crash" by Dave Matthews, "The General" by Dispatch, etc. I also play bass... Flea was my hero for years. Can't play by ear all that well but if you give me a week to practice something I can knock it out pretty good. To tell the truth, I play everything...
