ABOUT

The band Drastic Fall is looking for a singer. We have been playing in the Tampa/St. Pete area for six years and have a steady rotation of local gigs - including State Theater and other Rock/Metal Original Venues in the area. We now feature 4 different singers but are looking for a full time front-man(woman). We have a practice space that includes an area for recording - in which we are recording our second CD now.

Looking for someone to come in and write lyrics and sing to our present songlist (40+) and help with the creative process of writing new material. If this sounds like something that you are interested in and are ready to start recording and playing multiple gigs/month then check out the website or page and contact me to set up a time to come try out.

Influences

Drastic Fall began as a concept inside of the mind of its guitarist, Richard "Dick" Nasrallah. Like Dr. Frankenstein's creation, Dick's vision is both human and monster, relatable but frightening. Dicks' brain child was born when he began collaborating with Christopher "Monkey" Fotter in 2006, and later in 2012 with Geoff Stone and Cory Robbins. Drastic Fall's music is a collection of mind-blowing, in-your-face experimental metal with multiple different musical genre overtones. Their sound varies from easy listening, to carnival noises and everything in between. The music is laden with superhuman guitar riffs, rhythmic bass lines and dynamic drum beats.
Tampa Bay Metal Examiner describes this idiosyncratic band by writing, “How many bands can make you want to roller disco and start a giant circle pit in the same verse?” Drastic Fall is the pretty side of ugly and everything, all the time, all at once. Drastic Fall has two endorsements, Snake Oil Strings and Evander Beer. They also performed and were interviewed on two Tampa Bay radio stations, WMNF-88.5FM and WTAN-AM1340. Their most recent accomplishments include opening for Mushroomhead, Alien Ant Farm, Bobaflex, Indorphine, and Psychostick. Drastic Fall just released their first self-produced CD, "Everything, All the Time, All at Once" and their DVD "Stuff and Things" both available at Drasticfall.
