My two favorite genres to play are funk and jazz. I have a band now and we are having trouble finding a bassist so I am looking for others bands to play with because it looks like the other band is at a dead end. I would like to form a band with interesting music and isn't just trying to get famous. I want to play something that is fun to play and to listen to. If success comes than that's great but I don't that to be the only goal.

My favorite bands/musicians to listen to are Herbie Hankcock, Miles Davis, Weather Report, Dave Matthews Band, Led Zeppelin, RHCP, John Mayer, and Gary Clark Jr. to name a few. My main drumming influences are Carter Beauford, Billy Cobham, Dennis Chambers, Steve Jordan, Questlove, and Poogie Bell.
