ABOUT

My son and I (he plays drums and/or bass) would be interested in creating a small band to play small country music venues. The enjoyment would be a greater focus than than the financial side of the project.

I am a keyboard player / singer / song writer. I would be interested in playing with some good players doing classic country music.
My piano (and digital keys) style would be considered mostly Nashville country (Floyd Cramer). Regarding typical keyboard, I can cover Piano, Hammond B3 organ and quality keyboard emulations of other instruments such as fiddle, steel, etc.

Influences

Country artists such as Ray Price, Johnny Bush, Hank Williams Sr., Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Scotty Emerick, Steve Wariner, Glen Campbell, etc., but there are too many to attempt to list them all. I like most all 1960's to 1990's country music, and a lot of later era country. Not a fan of much of the new country music receiving radio play these days.
