ABOUT

---Before reading, please note that I am still in my last year of school, and also have a temporary job. This will make things much harder for now, but I made this account ahead of time, and don't expect anyone to read this before my school year ends. If you do read this, thank you very much, and I can still try to make things work---
Drummer of over 4 years, I play for at least 2 or 3 hours every day. While I've spent most of my time on the trap set playing metal, I am also very heavily into metal percussion, that being of playing multiple toms or bass drums, as well as other various things like a marching snare. This style of playing has become my life over quite some time, probably more than it should be.
I like to spend my free time playing percussion to songs that don't originally have it. I can adjust to play percussion in most types and genres of music, although my main goal in life is to be the percussionist of a metal group. Music is my number one pass time and hobby; I could spend several hours everyday recording/playing and be happy.
As for myself other than music, I am very shy in most circumstances, and don't like talking around groups of people (With some exceptions, like bandmates). I like to wear a facemask when playing mostly just for comfort and helps ease tension. I'm tolerant of everyone, as long as they don't hate others for things like race, sexuality, religion, etc. We're all humans, we should treat each other like it.
I know it seems like I would probably curl into a ball of anxiety as soon as I get put on a stage, but that's very wrong. What I lack in day-to-day interactions, I make up for in performance. If I'm playing or listening to metal or anything heavy, I'll exert myself as much as possible, as long as it's nonverbal. Of course, I won't be outshining a frontman or anything like that, but I will do anything other than be boring on stage.
Sorry for the hefty description, but I'm looking for a lifetime group of musicians, and so I think it's best to talk about what you would be getting by letting me join your metal family. If you're reading this and think I would be a good fit, just know that I'm down to at least try doing a few jamming sessions at minimum. Maybe it works out and I can be a permanent part of your musical mission. If not, then at least we tried.
