Experienced rhythm and lead guitar player, laid back, not a band leader, but can be a great, easy going band member. I am not a superstar guitar player, but I know my strengths: rhythmically gifted, I know how I should sound in the mix (not soooo loud), I can fill in the spaces where you need it most. I don't typically write songs, but I can contribute tons to songwriters - fills, riffs, hooks, tonality. Just turned 40, but more of a 30yo appearance wise, or 50 temperement. No drugs, occasional beers (maybe 20 over the last year?) I also know a ton about recording. Looking to work and make a living playing guitar, or bass for the right band. Love to practice, play out, more than willing to tour, and adaptable enough to sit in an emergency.

Influences
My main influence is Dickey Betts from the Allman Brothers, I tend to sound a bit like him when I solo...I am a Beatles freak, and pick up a lot of stuff from them, love the riffs of Led Zeppelin, the guitar playing of Steve Cropper, and a ton of other stuff. I also love Jazz, Kenny Burrel, and psychedelic stuff from the 60's, the Stones, Black Crowes, reggae, surf, rockabilly, and electronic music like Massive Attack, Chemical Brothers, Die Antwoord. Record collector for over twenty years - I love music.
EQUIPMENT
Basic - Epiphone Les Paul Junior, strat copy, Danelectro Nifty Fifty, giant Peavey Bandit, occasionally a Marshall combo amp. SG bass guitar with Epiphone bass amp, as well as an iPad with tons of electronic instruments.
