ABOUT
(Updated 5/14/24) I’m comfortably retired from a non-musical career, and play for the sheer enjoyment of the music and the challenge of still learning new skills. Not seeking fortune and fame through committed gigging, but that doesn’t mean I’m opposed to an occasional gig. I tried recently, but life got in the way of being able to fully commit to the rigors of learning an existing band’s extensive repertoire. But, please check out Greenville SC’s, Upstate of Mind if you can. Great people and talented singers/musicians!
I’d be interested in jamming or working on original projects where the set lists and time requirements are limited in scope.

Influences
Grew up in the 60’s so…. all of it. It also depends on the instrument. Generally, I enjoy Blues, love old time Rock-n-Roll, garage band stuff, power Pop, and some modern Country. In terms of whose careers impress me the most musically over the decades, it’s Steve VanZant and Keith Richards.

EQUIPMENT
Several guitars (partial to Gibsons), pedal boards and amps of different wattages, a recently added Helix floor I’ve yet to use, basic sound system (Yamaha/QSC-K12's/monitors), Yamaha keyboard, Akai midi keyboard and small home studio recording set up (MacBook/DAW Ableton Live). On the verge of a drum kit for the studio (if I ever get back to finishing it).
