Deep pocket R&B funk groove drummer with great attitude, chops and meter.

The audio samples attached above are from a fun jazz jam I did with my brother-in-law Bobby "Jelly Roll" Hard on guitar & vocals, my brother "Cosmos" on bass and me "D Stick" on drums. This is not my usual style that I play as I am a funk groove monster at heart. This was a one take recording with all mistakes left in. Hey...it's a home brew recording and for the fun of jamming...not making a CD.

This is my own style of drumming and version of Tower of Power's song...not meant to be excactly like David Garibaldi, nor the best drummer in the world, but rather like me...playing da funk and having a hell of a lot of fun doing it.

I love to play anything from funky smooth jazz, Alt. rock to R&B Funk. No metal, punk or country please.

I'm a professional photographer and videographer, so can produce some great multi-media videos and promo materials.

I also play my drums as just one of the sea of drummers who migrate to this annual event to express their love of rythym. We have set 3 new World Records in the 5 years we have been holding this crazy insane loud drum event in the Seattle Tacoma area each year. Our Current World Record is 533 full drum kits playing as one.

Pro drummers such as Alan White (YES), John Blackwell (Prince) Carmine Appice (Rod Stewart, Ted Nugent), Tony Coleman (BB King), Bernard Purdie (Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Steely Dan and studio legend), Jason McGerr (Death Cab for Cutie), Gregg Bissonette (Ringo Star and studio great) and many more pro drummers join us on stage each year.

Tony Coleman (BB King's drummer) My friend, drum mentor and business partner and one of the best damn drummers in the industry.

Equipment List:

Beautiful 6 piece set of Yamaha Customs with a mix of 6 Sabian and Zyldian cymbals. Great kit for studio and live performance. Have a full set of drum mics to make these skins sing loud and clear. Also have a nice set of Congas.
