I've been playing guitar for 5 years now, self-taught. I'm looking for a band to put together and do some shows, write some songs. I'm looking for a drummer, another guitarist, a bassist, maybe a keyboarist, and maybe a vocalist if there aren't any of us that can sing well enough. I'm hoping to keep it a four-piece. Basically I'm looking for a post-hardcore type of band, but I'm up for experimentation. Anything creative could work. Everything is flexible.

Influences:

for my sound- Funeral For a Friend, Brand New, Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, MewithoutYou, Underoath, Thrice, Emery, From First To Last. For other stuff I listen to- 60's rock, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Billy Joel, Damien Rice, Norma Jean (the band), the beatles.

I've got a 100watt marshall combo, a few pedals, and I'm currently looking to buy a new higher-end guitar.
