Original music project influenced by classic soul, neo-soul, R&B, disco, and funk is in need of a soul/r&b vocalist to bring the songs to life. Ideally your voice and musical taste have been influenced by one or more of the following: Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, Aretha, Jorja Smith, H.E.R., Erykah Badu, SZA, Celeste, Beyoncé, Olivia Dean, Pip Millett, Gladys Knight, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, Chaka Khan, Angie Stone. The vibe is groove-based with a 70s old school sensibility evolving to a contemporary sound. The band’s focus is on recording and live performances. Songwriting contributions are welcome and encouraged.
Also looking for a pocket bass player and drummer to comprise a solid and inspired rhythm section.
