Experienced live and studio performer with diverse blues, bluegrass and rock chops, but capable of other styles as well. Interested in jamming with other experienced players for fun, recording and/or gigs. I've mostly worked as a side man, providing lead instrumentation (lead guitar/mandolin) and harmony vocals. I also have stage and studio experience as a bass player as well.
I'm not into living a rock and roll lifestyle or traveling long distances for gigs (been there, done that). I just love making quality music for the enjoyment of happy people (including myself).
I'm very tech savvy and work with computers for a living (programmer/consultant) and have a lot of digital studio engineering and performance experience. I have a small, mobile recording setup and some nice condenser mics left over from the days when I was doing a lot more studio and performance work. I also have a lot of live audio engineering experience and can help out with PA setups, etc.
I'm open to doing old and classic country, authentic bluegrass, blues, blues rock, southern rock, folk, and even folk duo/trio stuff, gospel music (old or new), I'd consider pretty much anything really. I've played a lot of styles over the years and can even branch out into jazz/swing stuff in doses, having played in big band rhythm sections for stints in high school and college.
So if you have something and you need accompaniment, hit me up if you want and I'll consider it. I'm going to post some audio on here soon to give people a sense of what I can do in all of these genres.

Rock: Just about everything at some point or another from classic rock to metal. But I'm most interested in doing southern rock these days, blues rock, maybe a little classic country or outlaw country stuff.
