bass player and i are looking for like minded musicians to form a band to play out often. interested in doing covers and/or originals. more interested in playing the "B-side" of the hit list. open to most genres, singer songwriter, funk, r&b, rock, old country artists, some hip hop, alt, indie etc, etc.
we would like keys and guitar to start, but open to other instruments. we don't sing that much so someone who has lead singer ability is needed. we have a small but decent place to practice. drop me a line and we'll see what happens.

my fav rock drummers are; richie hayward(little feat), levon helm (the band) ringo, carmine appice (rod stewart among others) john bonham ( greatest rock drummer ever, l.z.) steve gadd( to many to mention) bill bruford ( yes, king crimson), bill kreutzmann ( grateful dead)
jazz drummers; max roach, jo jones, roy haynes, tony williams, dave weckel, vinnie colaiuta and many others
EQUIPMENT
i play a variety of kits, a 5 pc mapex for most rock gigs, a 4pc gretch for smaller rooms where volume is an issue and a recently purchased 4pc sonor martini set for acoustic music.
i also play conga, bongos, cajon and djembe in a variety of configurations.
