My band just broke up, and I already miss it. I love playing guitar. I've got experience playing the lap steel, but I'm not a huge country fan. I do like alt-country a lot. I have plenty of experience playing/singing in front of crowds-- if there's a venue in Atlanta, then I've probably played it. I have an ok voice but I'm not terribly interested in singing/fronting a band. Mostly I'm just looking for a group of cool people to jam with... david underscore marder at hot mail.

The Shins, Elliott Smith, the Lemonheads, Weezer, Paul Simon, Tom Petty, Death Cab for Cutie, The New Pornographers, Iron & Wine, Rilo Kiley, Ben Lee, Ben Folds... I'm a fan of indie-rock/pop acts; but I like all sorts of stuff.
