ABOUT

David grew up in Piscataway, NJ, and has been playing the Trombone and Tuba since Junior High School, and attended Glassboro State College as a Music Education Major. He also earned his Master’s Degree in Sacred Music from Pensacola Christian College. His experience includes Elementary & Junior High Band Director, Church Music Director, Private Instructor, Arranger and Music Theory Instructor.

David has performed with a number of area performing groups, including the Raritan Valley Symphonic Band, the Monday Blues Jazz Orchestra, and the Central Jersey Symphony Orchestra.

He is the owner and founder of Celebration Sounds Music Studios in Branchburg, NJ, for the past 12 years specializing in instrumental brass instruction and performing groups. David is the founding director and music arranger of the Raritan Valley Trombone Quartet.

The Raritan Valley Trombone Quartet will be performing at the Somerset County 4H Fair, North Branch Park, Bridgewater at 4:30 pm. We will be presenting a program of 100 Years of American Popular Music – starting with Ragtime in 1900, traces the development of American popular music including jazz, blues, big band, show tunes, movies, rock and pop music through 2000. For families and adults.
