Well, what can I say?... My name is Deejay Young and music is definately my life. I don't know what I would do without it. I've been singing since I was about three or four years ago. I started doing the gospel production "Daddy Please Don't Leave" since I was about nine or ten years old, which was a great experience for me. Going on tour is really exhilerating. If I had the chance to do it once more, I would say yes in a heartbeat. But now, I am just getting my demos togther and doing some performing here and there. (I LOVE to perform. It's the only time I can escape from life) In the future I hope I will get signed to a major record label. Hopefully in college I will major in the field of Creative Writing [perfecting my songwriting] and minor in Music. I also believe in my heart to not give up on my dreams. Not just for me, but for my gift. God has blessed me to move people soul throgugh music. I love hip-hop and R&B. It can make you cry. It can make you dance. When I sing, I just feel as if I can get people to feel me by feeling the music. I'm a different person. People often ask: "how is that big voice coming out of someone so young?" [lol] I just say, "Its the music". No matter what, I'm gonna keep singing my songs. The haters have no room. They motivate me to do what I do. If they are hating, then, shoot...I'm doin' my job. The only thing you can do is brush 'em off. So, I keep my dustpan next to me at all times, oh and also my songbook. tru songbird -Deejay
