I'm an intermediate bassist and classical singer who's looking for jam partners or a low-key band to play with and learn from. I'm slowly learning jazz but not currently competent playing it. I'm not limited to the genres I've selected, but Bandmix will only let me select 4.

Influences
As a bassist, my primary rock influences include John Entwistle (The Who), Steve Harris (Iron Maiden), Andy Rourke (The Smiths), Geddy Lee (Rush), and Sean Malone (Cynic). My primary jazz bassist influences include Jaco Pastorius, Scott LaFaro, Niels-Henning Ørsted Pederson, and Charlie Haden. There are plenty of other bassists I admire but don't consider as influences, and I'm heavily influenced by many non-bassists (especially in jazz) who are too numerous to name. I love involved and interesting bass playing that contributes heavily to the music.
