Mostly a semi-modern rock sound suits me best. I'm quite partial to MUSE, The Beatles, Led Zepplin, Sevendust, and most of all, King's X. I'm open to play anything from Jimmy Eat World to Sevendust, basically. I don't take liking to "emo" music. Jimmy Eat World is as emo as I go. Yeah...I've only been playing for 3 years, but I'll be better than you think (4 or 5 hours a day practicing. Teacher tells me I'm a natural. I take that with a grain of salt though).
John Bohnam (Led Zepplin), Dominic Howard (MUSE), *JERRY GASKILL* (KING'S X), Morgan Rose (SEVENDUST), Ringo (The Beatles), Billy Ward (Joan Osbourne), Rico Horton (Friend), Scott Henderson (Friend), Steve Smith (drum instructor), THE ACTUAL Steve Smith (Solo artist), and that's about it...
Pacific Drums and Percussion CX 8.1 drums. 8" x 10" rack tom, 9" x 12" rack tom, 12" x 14" floor tom, 18" x 22" kick, and 5" x 14" snare. All 100% 6-ply maple shells. Cx 8.1 hardware on drums...two of their crappy stands, and two heavy duty DW stands. 16" Sabian XS20 Medium Thin crash, XS20 20" Medium Ride, and 14" Zildjian A New Beats. More cymbals requires more money. Mroe money might come from hard work and some gigging. I do borrow cymbals from a friend from time to time.
