ABOUT

Eclipse is a hard rock band that was formed by founding guitarist Doug Wagner after going through many different bands around the Northville and Novi areas. Doug's first band, The Majesties, was formed in the summer of 2006 when he joined up with singer/bassist Grayson Emanoil, guitarist James Chuman, and his little brother Bob Wagner on the drums. After playing a few shows and citing creative differences, the Majesties broke up in early 2007. Soon after Doug and Bob founded a new band called Signs for the Fallen with singer Justin Fultz, guitarist Brian Watson, and bassist Alli Rohlf, but this band was broken up because of differences between the members as well. During an extended leave of absence from work in music, Doug worked on a few songs for a new project. Eventually, Doug joined with bassist Jason Grewell and drummer Nick Nutile to form The Dead Downs. These three talented musicians were dedicated to making good hard rock music and putting on a great live show. Over time, however, this band broke up because the members had different priorities, and they respectfully called it quits before the summer of 2009. Doug Wagner wanted to have the songs that he wrote while with The Dead Downs to be recorded so he went to Deadtree Records to record four of the tracks plus six other tracks that he wrote for a full length album which is scheduled to debut sometime in 2010. Joining up again with his very talented and dedicated brother, Doug and Bob are determined to succeed with their new band Eclipse.
