Accomplished, studied, guitarist with a rep, from San Diego is seeking to form an all original band. Direction is of the death metal genere, with clean vocals, pronounced drums, layerd guitars. My stuff is always technical and thick (neo-classical influence and B tuning). I believe drums are the basis of a good metal band and vocals need space. Consequently, I play drums myself and write with structure. Accomplished muscians a must. After leading many a band over the years, I am tired of the average dreamer, flake, and rebel "band guys". If you hang out at Guitar Center, constantly talk about how "old" (xxx) was so much better, have endless "when we get big" comments, and are familiar with hair "product" and know the "right way" to use eyeliner: just don't. I am more of the "natural minor over a 160 triplet feel" and "this 'll scare the neighbors".
