I'm looking to join a casual band around NYC, playing for fun.
I'm 31, amateur acoustic and electric guitar player. I've been taking lessons for the past 3 years, and have been playing on and off for many years before that but have never dedicated a significant amount of time to practice.
I'm into jazz, blues, hard rock, metal and other rock adjacent genres.
I've played in a garage cover band for a few months in my teens. We had a total of ~10 songs in our repertoire but didn't get around to booking any gigs.
