Influences
I grew up listening to R&B like EWF, Kool & the Gang. I have extensive knowledge of Latin music (salsa). As a trombonist, my biggest jazz influence was Steve Turre and in Latin music Barry Rogers. As a composer/arranger, listening to Chick Corea, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Jose Febles, Oscar Hernandez, and so many others continue to influence my writing
