SEEKING
Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Harmonica, Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle, Dobro, Steel guitar, Upright bass.ABOUT
Pro sideman seeks 3 or 4 piece to round out. One nighters ok. Don't need a long term commitment to go to work. A lot of my work is subbing for other band members that can't make a gig. I'm not taking their job, I'm just filling in in their absence. I can take every other break on a different instrument ,or stay all set on any one .I sing backup, don't smoke ,don't drink ,I just pick .I can work on the fly. I can twin or harmonize your lead, you pick what you want to hear for your next lead break. .It's all good .Don't turn down a gig because you can't all be there, hire a sideman. 214-914-0117 leave message 48 hr. notice is nice, but if it's important, I could do less .I promise I won't steal your stage ,merely filling in the background, and extra lead work, to make you sound better. I have a wide range of musical expertise ,and at minimum, a couple of hours with me will expand your groups horizon. ASCAP member seeking deal or management. I will show up early ,set up four instruments, line out to your PA, and make your 5 piece sound like 9.All I need is a setlist, with keys to go to work. Otherwise, it's just an open jam session. And I'll pick every one of you under the table. I know. I've seen me do it. I'll be the last man playing , when the sun comes up. Trust me on this. It's not about ego, it's about endurance. I only ask one thing. That you stay sober on stage, while working. What you do on your own time is your business. But band time is company time, and you/we need to treat this as a business ,if you/we are to succeed. Otherwise, your basically playing for drinks, and I won't stay with you. I build kitchens and baths. I also setup, repair , and build instruments. I play an 8 pedal marlen D20 ,and can float melodies, backup , or rhythm as needed.(country, jazz, or swing)
