Local band in the Jackson area seeking an experienced bass player/singer to replace a departed member. Currently we play cover songs ranging from classic/current rock, blues, and some country songs. Current set list is at 60+ songs and continuously growing, and we may also be adding original music as well. We hope to find someone with previous live band experience who can keep time and learn new songs fast. The chemistry in the band is dedicated but laid back. There are absolutely no ego's and we are not looking to add any. Members of the group have extensive playing experience and many contacts to book shows once ready. We usually practice Wednesday evenings and are looking to play at least every other weekend to start. We focus on playing dancable rock/country songs. Too many to list, but here are a few: AC/DC, Blackfoot, SRV, Clapton, Green Day, Metallica, Billy Joel, the Eagles and various other bands from the late sixties, all the way to more modern bands.
